As the holy month of Ramadan graces us with its presence, bringing with it a time of reflection, community, and shared experiences, Cairo Runners, in partnership with Wadi Degla Developments, is set to add an exhilarating twist to the traditional Ramadan nights with Women’s Night Race.

Ramadan Sisterhood Race

This unique event invites women and families to join in a celebration of fitness, togetherness, and the spirit of Ramadan like never before. Participants have the choice of joining the thrilling 5km Women’s Race or opting for the more relaxed pace of the 1km Family Run. Both races promise to be events full of fun, excitement, and the unique experience of racing under the stars, adding a magical touch to the Ramadan nights.

What makes this event even more special is the Sohour that awaits participants at the finish line. Hosted at the elegant Promenade in New Cairo, the post-race Sohour offers a perfect opportunity to unwind and indulge in delicious, traditional Ramadan fare in the company of friends and family.

Timing and Location

The night race will take place on the streets of Cairo and at the Promenade in New Cairo, one of Wadi Degla Developments’ projects, on March 28. It is a five-minute drive from the American University in Cairo and the bustling commercial hub of Road 90. It is also conveniently accessible from Maadi, Heliopolis, and the New Administrative Capital.
