Trifactory returns to Wadi Degla Protectorate for Trailmaster Wadi Degla 2023. The 2023 edition will bring more challenges to the same, beautiful landscape in Cairo, so it’s not just a race; it is an opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals who share a passion for outdoor adventures and a love for nature.
Trifactory At Wadi Delga
Trailmaster Wadi Degla 2023 follows the success of Trifactory’s previous events of the same name and the El Wadi Trail Run. The 2023 edition offers three main categories: 5K – Trailsprinter (12+), 10K – Trailracer, and 21K – Trailblazer. Participants can go beyond the maximum kilometer for the three categories and earn the ranks 43K – Trailmarathoner or 84K – Trailmaster.
Trailmaster runners will progress through various distances, with each distance corresponding to a specific rank. As participants advance in rank and ultimately conquer the challenging 84K off-road ultramarathon, they will earn the esteemed title of “Trailmaster.”
Trailmaster 2023 allows outdoor athletes to explore the breathtaking natural destinations in Egypt and compete in top-notch running races that encompass all the exceptional elements expected from The TriFactory. These elements include superior race organization, impressive race medals, precise timing services by professionals, and the opportunity to accumulate valuable Endurance League points.
Timing and Location
Trailmaster Wadi Degla 2023 takes place at Wadi Degla Protectorate on the outskirts of Cairo. The venue is a 12-km long canyon and desert land that serves as a protective area for the wildlife it houses. The course itself presents a mix of hard-packed dirt, sand, and gravel surfaces, ensuring a diverse and engaging trail-running experience.
The event is scheduled for September 2023. Participants should be at the venue between 5:30 AM to 6:15 AM to check in and receive their race numbers. The races will begin at 6:30 AM.
