The Glow Run

The TriFactory presents The Glow Run, a remarkable nighttime running experience like no other! Teaming up with Palm Hills Developments, the event will light up Cairo with UV lights, neon signs, and much more.

Run With The Lights

Prepare yourself for an unforgettable 5K run under the stars, right at the heart of the 6th of October, transformed into a neon wonderland with UV lights, dazzling neon signs, and much more—all lit up by dazzling light installations created by Trifactory’s lighting partner, LUMINO. 

The Glow Run invites participants of all ages and skill levels to join the fun. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just looking for a unique experience, this event is open to everyone. There are no special entrance criteria or qualifications required for registration. If you’re at least 8 years old, you’re eligible to participate in the 5K race–an unlimited run for all ages.

Timing and Location

The Glow Run returns on October 31 at Palm Hills, one of Egypt’s biggest residential compounds. It is located between East and West Cairo in the heart of the new 6th of October.

Here’s the full schedule of the race:

• 8:00 pm – 9:00 pm: Arrive and Collect Your Race Number at Palm Hills.
• 9:00 pm – 9:15 pm: Warm-Up Session and Final Event Announcements. Runners gather at the Start Line.
• 9:15 pm: The Glow Run kicks off
• 10:30 pm: Race concludes + Entertainment
• 11:30 pm: Event ends

• Early-Bird Registration Phase (September 29 to October 8): EGP 600 – 5K
• General Registration Phase (October 9 to 27): EGP 700 – 5K
• Late Registration Phase (October 28 to 31): EGP 800- 5K
• Spectator Tickets (September 29 to October 31): EGP 500- 5K

About the Organizer

The TriFactory is one of Egypt’s most prominent sports organizers and management companies specializing in endurance sports, mainly running, swimming, cycling, skiing, and triathlon. Aside from the El Gouna Marathon, the TriFactory is also responsible for the formation and promotion of the Madinaty Half Marathon and Somabay Endurance Festival.
