Sodic Charity Run by The Trifactory

After a five-year hiatus, the SODIC Charity Run is set to make a comeback in September. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to be part of this event. Run for the Heart

SODIC Charity Run, organized by The TriFactory and in support of the Magdi Yacoub Heart Foundation, offers a range of options to cater to different running abilities and interests. Participants can choose between three distances: a 10K Race, 5K Race, or a 3K Fun Run. It welcomes runners of all ages and skill levels.

Here’s more information about the race categories:

• 3K Fun Run – Untimed run open for all ages. Participants receive race number and acrylic medal at Finish Line.
• 5K Race – 5,000m road running race, professionally timed using the MyLaps Timing System. Participants receive race number, race t-shirts, and premium race medals at the Finish Line.
• 10K Race – 10,000m road running race, professionally timed using the MyLaps Timing System. Participants receive race number, race t-shirts, and premium race medals at the Finish Line.

Timing and Location

SODIC Charity Run is scheduled for September 13, 2024. SODIC West, situated in Egypt’s Sheikh Zayed area and conveniently located at KM 38 Cairo Alexandria Desert Road, stands as the largest planned mixed-use development in the region, rivaling the size of Zamalek. This remarkable development brings together various interconnected communities, including Beverly Hills, Allegria, Westown (which includes Westown Residences and Courtyards), CASA, Designopolis, and The Strip, forming a truly unique Egyptian destination.

​September 13, Friday:

• 7:00 am – 7:45 am: Arrival and race number collection at The Hub, SODIC West
• 7:45 am: Warm-up and final announcements. Runners head to the start line.
• 8:00 am: 10K & 5K races begin
• 8:10 am: 3K Fun Run begins 10:00 am: Awards ceremony for 10K & 5K races
