Run for Upper Egypt Charity Race
For the fourth year in a row, The TriFactory and the Ahmed Bahaa El-Din Association are teaming up to organize an exciting charity road race in the heart of NewGiza. Taking place on Friday, December 20th, this year’s event continues to promote cultural and social development in Upper Egypt while offering participants a fun and active way to contribute to a great cause.
Run for Charity in Upper Egypt
The Run for Upper Egypt will feature two untimed race categories to accommodate runners of all ages and abilities: a 5K race for participants aged 8 and above and a 10K race for those aged 12 and above. Both runs will begin and end at the NewGiza Sports Club, taking participants through a safe, fully pedestrianized path surrounded by NewGiza’s scenic landscapes. Every runner who crosses the finish line will receive a special commemorative medal as a keepsake for their contribution to this meaningful event.
The race aims to promote cultural development. Participants will have the opportunity to run for a great cause, which is the main cause that the Ahmed Bahaa El-Din Association promotes in Assiut and Upper Egypt in general. As such, all proceeds from this event will go towards the association’s initiatives.
Timing and Location
Since NewGiza is one of the partners and sponsors of the event, the Run for Upper Egypt will take place in the heart of New Giza on December 20, beginning and ending at the NewGiza Sports Club.
Below is the complete schedule of the event:
- 8:00 am – Arrival and Registration
- 9:00 am – 5K and 10K Run Starts
- 10:30 am – Closing Ceremony
- 11:00 am – Event Ends
Registration Information
Registration is now open! The 750 EGP registration fee includes your race number, a finisher’s medal, and nutrition provided both on the course and at the finish line. To sign up, visit the official registration link, review the terms and conditions, and make your payment online.
