Run for the Climate
Cairo Runners, in partnership with the British University in Egypt and the UNDP, will launch Run for the Climate 2022. The event is the continuation of the first and successful ‘Climate Connection Run’ last year.
Step Up For Climate Change
Cairo Runners, the British University, and UNDP, under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, will hold the event for another season this 2022. Run for the Climate is planned to be the largest run in Egypt to date, featuring an open-air “Arts for Climate” exhibition and a “Green Bazaar” for students, for start-ups and green businesses, aiming to raise awareness about climate change and increase positive engagement of youth in the cause.
Timing and Location
The run is taking place on October 14th ahead of the 2022 United Nations Climate Change Conference #COP27, and will start and end at the British University in Egypt’s campus in El Sherouk City.
