Family Run at Porto El Minya

Participating in the Porto El Minya Run promises a memorable race experience and a well-deserved reward at the finish line – special Run medals await each participant!

The main event, a 5-kilometer race, is designed for individuals aged 12 and above, offering a challenging yet exhilarating course for seasoned runners. Additionally, the event caters to the entire family with a specially organized 1K Kids Run, providing a delightful opportunity for both parents and children to share the joy of running together. The 1K run is tailored for participants aged 12 and below, ensuring a family-friendly atmosphere and a chance for the younger generation to embark on their own running adventure.

Whether you’re tackling the 5K challenge or enjoying a family outing with the 1K Kids Run, Porto El Minya Run has something for every age and level of runner.

Mark your calendars for an unforgettable experience on Friday, the 15th of December, 2023, as the vibrant city of El Minya hosts a spectacular event, presented by the esteemed Porto Sporting Club. Nestled in the heart of El Minya, the event’s location ensures a captivating backdrop for an immersive and enjoyable experience. Refer to the timetable below for the full schedule:

• 15:00 – 16:00: Kit Pickup
• 16:15: Run Warm-up
• 16:30: 5K Run Start
• 17:30: 1K Kids Race
• 18:00 – 20:00: Awards Ceremony

Registration Information

The registration fee covers the complete race package, providing participants with essential items such as the race number, participation medal, and certificate. Additionally, those participating in the 5k Run will be awarded a finisher t-shirt, while participants in the 1K Kids category will receive a distinctive finisher medal! Night Runners is an amateur sports club focusing on triathlon and multi-sport beach races. They host, compete, and join beach races, weekly workouts, and cleanup programs. Members of Night Runners mainly operate in Cairo, Egypt.
