Timing and Location

You can join Mermaid Week 1, scheduled from September 16th to 23rd, 2023, with the option of extending the magic into the following week from September 23rd to 30th. Alternatively, you can register for Mermaid Week 2, from September 23rd to 30th, 2023, with an extension possibility from September 16th to 23rd.

All of this aquatic wonder unfolds against the captivating backdrop of Malikia Resort Abu Dabbab, nestled in the picturesque Marsa Alam, Egypt.

The participation fee is set at 2,250 Euros (roughly USD 2,600). For individuals yearning for a more extensive adventure that spans both Mermaid Week and an added week, the total cost is 2,799 Euros (approximately USD 3,250). To confirm your spot, an initial deposit of 1,000 Euros or USD is mandatory immediately after booking.

Here’s the full list of inclusions:

• Round-trip transportation from the airport (Either in Hurghada or Marsa Alam) to the resort and back
• 7 nights (or 14 nights) at the Malikia Resort Abu Dabbab (double occupancy)
• All-inclusive food and drinks
• Three boat trips to special dive sites
• Training in mermaiding and underwater modeling
• Photo shoots, some on land and some underwater
• Support from our professional safety team
• Usage of a fabric tail from the Mermaid Kat Shop (if you need a fabric tail to use, please let them know in advance)
• 10 edited, high-resolution photos (you can choose)
• 1 video that will always remind you of this trip (approx. 2-3 minutes long)

Mermaid Week Egypt is organized by Mermaid Kat, an accomplished mermaid, mermaid instructor, and underwater stunt performer hailing from Perth, Western Australia. Serving as a global ambassador for the ocean, she traverses the globe adorned in her mermaid tails, engaging with marine wonders like dolphins, turtles, whales, manta rays, and sharks to raise awareness for ocean conservation. Kat’s extensive repertoire includes appearances in numerous films, TV commercials, and advertising ventures.
