Kite Instructor Training

VDWS International, a coordinated organization representing all aspects of water sports – especially wind sports, will host a Level 1 Kite Instructor Training in El Gouna for beginner and amateur kitesurfers.

VDWS-Certified Kite Training

The training includes developing the necessary knowledge to teach the students to have fun with kitesurfing while learning all the basic and advanced principles. This could be one’s first teaching experience through teaching experiments with kitesurfing students or organization and implementation of safe kitesurfing lessons in the basic license area at different locations and with different kitesurfing systems.

Anyone who has passed at least the teaching sample and the practical exam in the Level 1 training course receives the status of Level 1 Instructor. Level 2 is granted when all parts of the exam are passed and when the internship is completed and the required documents are submitted.

Timing and Location

The training will run from February 24 to March 3, 2023. It will take place at KBC EL Gouna at Buzzha Beach, Hurghada, Egypt. The venue is the only kitesurfing station in El Gouna with a swimming pool.

Registration Information

The registration for VDWS’ Level 1 Kite Instructor Training is open online. Head to this link to register and fill out the form. The registration fee is 695 EUR (17,500 EGP). For equipment rental, the price is 220 EUR (5,538 EGP) and it already includes the board and the kite and private kiting.
