DTU Dive Trip Egypt

In collaboration with Kingfish, DTU Dive invites participants to embark on an incredible journey to Ecolodge Shagra, a dive camp nestled along the pristine shores of the Red Sea in Egypt. Surrounded by this breathtaking natural beauty, participants will have the chance to immerse themselves in the mesmerizing world that lies beneath the Red Sea’s glistening surface.

Adventure Meets Aquatic Magic

This thrilling excursion is open to both DTU students and staff. If you’re not affiliated with DTU, don’t worry! You can still be a part of this adventure by becoming a member of DTU DIVE as you register for the event.

The adventure package includes everything needed for an extraordinary dive experience:

Round-trip Flight:

• Departing from CPH to Hurghada Airport and back.

Airport Transfers:

• Comfortable transport from the airport to the dive camp and back.

Accommodation: 7 nights in cozy Marsa Shagra tents.

Delicious Meals: Enjoy daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner, plus complimentary soft drinks.

Unlimited Diving: Dive to their heart’s content with five days of unlimited diving at the house reef.

Guided Dives: Start the diving journey with two guided dives on the first day.

Scuba Gear: Scuba tanks and lead are provided.

Luggage Allowance: Participants will have 23 kg of available luggage space.

Timing and Location

DTU Dive Trip is set to unfold from January 21st to January 28th, 2024, in the mesmerizing enclave of Marsa Shagra. During this week-long journey, participants will have the privilege of diving into the heart of the Red Sea’s most coveted dive sites. Marsa Shagra is renowned for its rich marine biodiversity, thriving coral reefs, and encounters with some of the ocean’s most enchanting creatures.

Registration Information

Registration for the DTU Dive Trip is open online. The all-inclusive registration fee is 10,700 DKK (42,000 EGP). The deposit fee is 4,000 DKK (17,600 EGP), due by October 2, 2023. To register, contact DTU via Facebook or through our email at dtu.dive@gmail.com.
