Color Run Egypt

The happiest 5-kilometer marathon on Earth returns to Egypt this May! The Color Run 2025, sponsored by O West, presented by IEVENTS, and powered by GLC Paints, welcomes new and returning color runners to make magic in Egypt on the 31st.

The Happiest 5K on the Planet 

The Color Run is an international 5-kilometer, untimed marathon. The 2025 edition returns to Egypt after its visit in 2019. At a glance, Color Run is a fun and competitive event with one unique feature—participants or “color runners” are required to wear white; beginning from the starting line, they will be doused from head to toe in a different colored powder as they run.

After the marathon, the fun continues with the participants and other spectators at the Finish Festival, a party that offers a star-studded music lineup, photo ops, activity booths, food kiosks, kids activities, and continuous color throws that create millions of color combinations.

Timing and Location

The Color Run 2025 takes place on May 31 at O West, a modern integrated community developed by Orascom in 6th of October City, on the western side of Greater Cairo. O West features lush green spaces, scenic walking trails, and contemporary urban design that provides a safe and dynamic environment for outdoor events. Its wide roads, open areas, and family-friendly layout make it an ideal setting for this fun-filled, color-packed race.
