New Year, New Hike
The Saint Catherine Valley trail invites hikers to explore its serene landscapes, including lush valleys, sparkling water springs, and Bedouin gardens. Designed for entry-level hikers, this trail requires no mountain climbing or strenuous paths, but participants should have a good fitness level to fully enjoy the experience. Led by experienced organizers and professional Bedouin guides, the hike combines adventure with cultural immersion, making it a unique way to start the year.

Timing and Location
The hike will take place in the scenic Saint Catherine Valleys, known for its tranquil landscapes, water springs, and Bedouin gardens. Participants will begin the adventure on Thursday, January 2, with a gathering at 10:30 PM in Nasr City (exact location to be shared upon registration). Departure is scheduled for 11:00 PM.
The event concludes on Sunday, January 5, after a morning hike back to Saint Catherine town through Naqb Abu El Hawa and Abu Seila village. The journey offers a chance to connect with nature and escape the hustle of daily life in one of Egypt’s most beautiful outdoor destinations.
Registration Information
Registration for the hike is open online. To secure your spot, fill out the registration form via this link. Early bird discounts are available for payments made before December 14. Group discounts are also offered for parties of five or more.
