Cairo Comeback in March
The Cairo Half Marathon is a celebration of community, determination, and the joy of active living. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or a first-timer, this event welcomes participants of all levels to share in the exhilaration of pushing their boundaries and achieving their goals.
This year, Cairo Runners offers a new set of distances to cater to all levels of runners and walkers:
- 21KM – For the seasoned athletes looking for a challenging half marathon experience
- 10KM Run – Perfect for those aiming to push their limits and achieve personal records
- 5KM Fun Run – Join in the fun and enjoy a leisurely run through the heart of Cairo
- Family Run – A special category designed for families to bond over a healthy and active day out
Timing and Location
The Cairo Marathon 2025 will take place on Friday, February 14, 2025. The race will begin early in the morning, ensuring participants can enjoy Cairo’s streets in the crisp, cool air of February. Exact starting times and route details will be shared closer to the event date, offering a mix of scenic and historic landmarks that highlight the city’s unique charm.
In the days leading up to the marathon, runners are invited to attend The Hub, a 3-day pre-event expo running from February 11 to 13, 2025. The Hub will serve as the venue for race kit collections and offer engaging activities, sponsor booths, and opportunities to connect with the running community. The precise location of The Hub will be announced soon, providing a vibrant lead-up to race day.
