Hosted at a premium new location, this much-anticipated event welcomes runners back to the heart of Zamalek at Elcorniche. Nestled right by the Nile, this spot offers the perfect fusion of nostalgia and contemporary flair, creating a unique atmosphere for both seasoned runners and first-timers looking to experience something special.
The Zamalek Experience, Recharged
This 6KM run is an invitation to be part of something unforgettable. Participants will gather in front of the iconic Blue Nile Boat, a familiar meeting point now reimagined with new energy and fresh perspective. As the sun rises over the Nile, runners will lace up for a scenic and spirited dash through the charming streets of Zamalek, with the river breeze at their backs and the energy of Cairo in motion.
Timing and Location
Mark your calendars for Friday, July 4th, 2025. Check-in and warm-up begin at 7:00 AM sharp, with the official start of the run at 7:20 AM. The run will begin at Blue Nile Boat – Zamalek, offering a central and accessible location for participants coming from across the city. With Cairo’s summer mornings offering the best conditions for an outdoor run, this date ensures the perfect balance of vibrant atmosphere and favorable weather.
Registration Information
This is a limited-capacity event, and only those who register quickly and receive a confirmation email will secure a spot at the starting line. Registration is open online. Due to the exclusive nature of this run, only a select number of participants will be admitted.
About the Organizer
Based in New Cairo, Cairo Runners is the first street-running sports community in Egypt. They provide mini-marathons and promote environmental sustainability in sports. Cairo Runners has been producing an average of 2,500 runners every week.
