King Tut Warm-Up Run
Step into history and join the King Tut Warm-Up Run on Friday, December 6th, 2024, at District 5, New Cairo. This exciting event marks the 102nd anniversary of King Tut’s Golden Mask discovery and serves as the perfect preparation for the Marakez Pyramids Half Marathon. It features a smooth and scenic 2.5K loop that you can run once, twice, or three times—perfect for runners of all levels.
Warm-Up Against History
Runners can choose from 2.5K, 5K, or 7.5K distances, depending on their race-day goals. It’s the ideal opportunity to test your endurance, connect with fellow runners, and celebrate one of Egypt’s most iconic historical discoveries.
To participate, you’ll first need to join the Virtual Race Through History on the Racemate App. Starting on Sunday, November 24th, 2024, the app will guide you through your preparation. Simply complete a 5K Virtual Race anytime between 5:00 AM and 11:59 PM on November 26th, then you’ll unlock your invitation to the Warm-Up Run.
Participants will receive a personalized race number, exclusive sponsor giveaways, and access to a rejuvenating post-run stretching session. It’s a fantastic way to celebrate your progress and prepare for the main marathon event, all while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of District 5.
