Ironman returns to Egypt’s magical bay at Sahl Hasheesh in November. Ironman 70.3 Egypt will serve as the biggest triathlon event of the year in the country, and it will coincide with the beginning of the winter season.

Ironman 70.3 Egypt is part of the organization’s lineup of events for 2023, which consists of over 170+ triathlon events worldwide. The new edition in Egypt will give Egyptian triathletes a chance to compete on the global stage and further their career in sports. The event offers qualifying slots for the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championships, the biggest and culminating event of the series. Players will get points on top of the main prizes.

Race course:

Swim course – 1 loop, 1.9km Bike course – 1 loop, 90 km Run course – 2.5 loops, 21.1 km

Timing and Location

Ironman 70.3 Egypt will take place in Sahl Hasheesh, a bay on the Red Sea coast, on November 3. The course starts with a swim on the sandy beach of the Red Sea, followed by a perfectly-rounded bike route, and ends with an exhilarating run on the promenade overlooking the beach.
